THINDESK NOW MEMBER OF ITAC
November 12 , 2007- Toronto ON. ThinDesk today announced that as a member of ITAC (Information Technology Association of Canada ) it has become a full Member of a division of ITAC, CHITTA (Canadian Health Information Technology Trade Association).
ThinDesk believes in the objectives of CHITTA to insure that Canadian technology companies play a vital leadership role in Health Care. Collaboration among health care providers , governments, and patients is the most important Information Technology objective to insure health care meets the challenges of the next decade. CHITTA and ThinDesk founding principles are to provide collaborative information technology. The highest Data Security will allow compliance and governance practices to stay pace with the expected greater flow of information.
David Welch, ThinDesk, C.I.O. said, “ ..it is our believe that the centralized thin computing model is the only conceivable method for Health Care to follow to insure it collaborates more effectively while meeting the security challenges which will be greater as a result.” He went on to say,”….. the low cost model of thin computing for multiple workers carrying for people out of the home can not be challenged by any other architecture.”
